On the 26th of August, 2021, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Mali, H. E. Chikezie Ogbonna Nwachukwu paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Mali, H. E. Dennis Hankin. The meeting discussed issues of mutual interest between Nigeria, West Africa and the entire African continent and the United States of America.
